SharkSchool® is the brain child of the late and great Dr Erich Ritter. Erich was one of the worlds leading experts in shark behavior and dedicated his life to studying these beautiful creatures. Changing peoples perspective of sharks from being mindless killers to actually very misunderstood and fascinating animals. Sadly Erich passed away in 2020 but his legacy lives on.

What happens at SharkSchool® is exclusively for SharkSchool® guests. But needless to say it will change the way you see sharks forever. The first rule of  is that we SharkSchool® don't talk about SharkSchool®. We don't want inexperienced operators imitating us and placing people at risk with sub standard information and training techniques. (Sign up for our shark dives and we will give you a teaser). While sharks are massively misunderstood creatures they are wild animals that deserve our respect.

 SharkSchool® involves an intensive week of scuba or free diving with sharks every morning with in-water tasks assigned to you to complete each day. Teaching you what to do and what not to do around sharks. Relaxing afternoons at the Cape Eleuthera Resort and Marina are filled by teachings from experts in shark behavior. The days end with glorious sunsets and cocktails at our new outdoor bar over looking the marina. It is a fun week for everyone involved. We certainly love it!
